Iguazu Falls

Second largest falls in the world. The name of the falls comes from the Guarani word "y" meaning water and "guazu" meaning big.

Milking

Greens

Here and There

I caught one of the students sharpening machetes
on my walk this afternoon.

Students take a break and enjoy some Yerba Mate and conversation. Mate is a staple here in Paraguay, and is almost always enjoyed with friends.

Another trip to Asuncion this weekend.

Sunset shots

Our video camera finally arrived yesterday after a week in customs. We began shooting today, and everyone is really excited to start our project.

My lovely Fati. We wouldn't be able to survive out here without her wonderful Spanish skills.

Chris with the tripod after he helped Lan and Fatima shoot the sunset.

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, but everything is going well in Paraguay.

Another day on the farm

Marcos

Shoveling manure.

I think my photo story is coming along well. I'm taking tons of pictures, but the highlight of my day was riding horses.
